The Green Cafe

On holiday and decided to visit Totnes, came here for lunch and glad we did! Lovely staff and the food was delicious. There isn't many tables inside but they do have a lovely little garden with extra tables!

Absolutely delighted with our experience. My partner and i went for a Chicken Curry each to start with, which was simply gorgeous and then some cakes to take away with us, also fantastic. The staff couldn't of been more friendly, helpful and professional. Prices were great given the gorgeous food you get for your money. Can't wait to visit again.

Wow! A lovely cafe with some of the friendliest staff, delicious food and amazing drinks. We sat in the cute garden out back which was very peaceful and relaxing. I got the traditional breakfast and asked for no tomato or mushrooms, which the staff offered to substitute - it was possibly the best cooked breakfast I've ever had. I also got a large mocha, which was very nice and creamy - again, possibly the best I've ever tasted. We'll definitely be coming back if we're ever in the area again.

Delicious vegan pasty in super friendly independent Totnes cafe. We received a warm welcome from the staff despite arriving at the end of the day, nothing was too much trouble - it was really great customer service. Sat outside in the sunny, peaceful and well cared for garden. Highly recommended spot with loads of options for veggies and vegans. We will definitely visit again.

Just had a great coffee and some lovely takeaway pastries from the Green Cafe. It's got new owners and they are also doing an evening Indian dinner service at the weekends as "The Good Korma". We also tried some of their Indian food as takeaway. OMG - Outstanding!!!! This is the new "must try" place in Totnes

Really tasty food at an unassuming little place. I’d highly recommend the daal and chickpea curry. Really good value for good portions. Service was a little slow, but it was peak time for lunches, so just be prepared to wait an extra few minutes for drinks. It’s worth waiting for though.

One of the best cafes in Totnes I've never eaten anything from here I didn't enjoy :) also the staff are so so friendly and helpful! Yummy vegetarian options and one of the cheaper places on the high street where I can get a filling meal with vegetables and protein and everything I need. I will always recommend it!

This is the greatest cafe I’ve been to in ages. Lovely food, welcoming staff and good atmosphere. The curries are great and cakes too. Well worth a visit!
